My 360 just Red Ring'd

Yup. Three red rings o' death.

Good news: we are within the 3 year warranty for this problem. I've put the repair order in with Microsoft already.

Any advice or suggestions? Sympathy? Whatever!

Is that the latest incarnation of the BSoD? You'd think that even M$ would improve a little over the years, but apparently they haven't.

The latest releases (Falcon) are pretty much "par for course" for failures. The earlier boards, however, are pretty bad. That said, my Opus (I think) is pretty damn sturdy unfortunately* Jaspers, whenever the fuck they come out, are pretty much "fail safe." Well, about as much as a Wii or PS3 anyway.

Anyway, you'll probably get an Opus board back (ie, no HDMI port) unless you have an Elite probably ... in which case you'd get an Elite back which means it's probably a Falcon.

*Unfortunately since I want to force an RRoD to try to get a Falcon or MAYBE a Jasper back when those come out. HDMI port would be awesome at least.
