Vita is coming soon, and PSP releases are already questionable enough (to a point where even Square won't release a grand title that they KNOW will sell over here), so signs point to no.

Ended up preordering from amiami, hopefully it works out.

Been a little busy but I've been keeping updated, mostly with whatever videos they've been popping on youtube and niconico.

Honestly it feels a little hard to get hyped up about the game at this point. I'm looking forward to another round of beautiful music and graphics plus the new voiceovers and Vocaloid stuff, but none of these gameplay videos actually make me want to throw money at the developers and spend thousands of hours replaying their game.

Without any actual playtests or reviews I suppose we won't know how good it is until it's actually out though.

Video is definitely more substantial than past videos. Actually the game is starting to feel more Etrian Odyssey-like than its predecessor; damage tiles and the world map have been eliminated.



Just sent payment to amiami and waiting for them to send ship confirmation, hopefully I'll be getting the preorder bonus. Special edition with shipping and at the ridiculous conversion rate ... is ... $117

So there are three:

1. I bought the which comes with a PSP cover (for the 3000 unfortunately), a set of earbuds, and some stickers or some such.

2. The regular preorder bonus is a (not the OST, instead has extra tracks on it) just like last time.

3. . Amiami was charging an extra thousand yen for theirs, so I didn't pick theirs up but some of the other ones are pretty spiffy.

The LE package wasn't that much more expensive IIRC so I decided to spring the extra few dollars for the earbuds.
