What do you eat?

the thing about five guys is...i don't like their fries.

and everyone says they are the best fries. and you get a TON of them. but i just. don't like them. is something wrong with me

For me, they are best fries when looking at fast food. Second best probably would be either PDQ or Culvers. It's not out of the question for someone to hate them though. I guess the question is did you have them once or over multiple visits? Or did you try them as take out? The one thing I've found, if doing take out, is that it's best to just dump them out of the cup immediately otherwise they will get soggy and not be as good.

A bit late but I'm a big fan of Five Guys fries. There's another place nearby called Tom's Burgers though, and those fires are bombing. The serving is pretty large too and are generally less expensive. I had them for lunch but ended up eating too much. Whoops.

Made onigiri and onigirazu (much like onigiri but with more fillings) with Monsieur, it was so tasty with green tea. :3

What kind of rice do you use for onigiri? Probably wouldn't work with what passes for regular rice over here, but is sushi rice the right kind? It is pretty expensive in comparison.

I'm fuming mad about people making up new rules for eating christmas-food. It's not a bloody french fullcourse, is it? I want to put the food I want to eat on my plate and eat it, like a normal person. What do you mean, the casserole is for the second serving? What am I supposed to eat with these dry, tasteless meatballs, then?
And I'm not going to dismantle a decimeter of stacked decorations to get to half an egg.
In the end I barely ate anything.
