They don't have the expression "drunk as a sailor" for nothing!

I haven't had to deal with any major hangovers since I stopped drinking liquor. Wine can give me a headache, and beer can jostle my stomach for a few hours in the morning, but I just start drinking water early and steadily and be sure to eat periodically.

On the topic of eating, I made pad thai. I'm also drinking green tea with mint.

What brands of tea do you drink?

I like to drink Bigelow and Twinings for bagged tea.

For mint tea I always have Twinings. For other kinds I don't have a preferred brand.

Twinings is awesome.

There's this fancy-pants brand called Tazo that makes an excellent mint decaff and mint with green tea... it's too expensive for everyday use, but whenever I get tea on campus that's what they have.

<-- prefers Twinings blackcurrant

Starbucks serves Tazo.

One of the fancy-pants ones that I like is Mighty Leaf. Also too expensive for everyday use.

Yeah most coffee shops do, except the one inside my store. We serve Republic of Tea.

I don't like most of the tea we have... I always bring my own (and it's cheaper that way)

I bought a bunch of chicken drumsticks because they were on sale. I've made then for dinner three nights in a row, so to help with variety I cooked them three different ways.

Sunday: Buffalo Drumsticks with Beer

Monday: Tonkatsu-sauce basted Drumsticks with Chicken Rice-a-roni

Today: Fried* Chicken with white cheddar shells

*I baked it instead of frying it, but the result is the same. I used just a little butter in the pan and coated the drumsticks in flour.

A whole lot of curry lately. It's an amazing combination with potatoes.

Four drinks before my eyes.

Tim Horton's hot chocolate, a canister of water, lemon thriller and lemon green iced tea.

Edit - Three minutes later, all that's left is what I saved best for last: water!

A variety of lemon tea. I think Celestial Seasonings sells it as "Lemon Zinger".
