Right now I'm watching Kannagi, Toradora and Kemeko DX. Kannagi's OP is just all kinds of Win.

Chihiro is easily the most touching, albeit a very 50 First Dates-esque feel to it. There's honestly something about the Miyako story that detracts from its ability to be totally saddening ... probably something to do with her appearing to be fucking insane[s]ly clingy[/s].

Incidentally, the game has the Miyako and Kei (Ef - the first tale) stories tied together and then the Chihiro and Mizuki stories (Ef - the latter tale). The anime, from what I've seen of melodies (VERY LITTLE) is that the Kei story is straight up fucking missing (there's more to her than the Miyako stuff!).

...then again, it does seem to go into Yu and Yuko more...

I didn't like Miyako IN THE LEAST. I was SO pissed about the ending. I felt what happened with Kei was the worst. >_< Seriously, I got so annoyed with Miyako's "101 voice mails" segment that I cut it off at the end.

<_< I read in some blogs later on that people were cussing Kei out because of what she did. ... The hilarious part was, I was screaming

even before she did it and was incredibly satisfied when she did :3 It received a total "MAXINE SEAL OF APPROVAL!" and I felt that it would probably have been something I would have done....
