That's quite interesting. Also, failure at math isn't too bad. It's a lot of fun to do manual t-tests, really. Ignorance can be bliss at times.

Hehe. I was talking to someone about the immortality thing, and we both found it kind of funny. There are so many times in life where I should have died, especially at my own hand, but I still live at 0 HP! How is this possible!? The knowledge I elude death, even when I do not try, creates mixed feelings. I feel like I suck at dying, but I also feel I should take it as a sign to try to stay alive. It is my fate to find out why.

Engineering != Math

Engineering is "Math" in the same sense Algebra is "English" because it involves letters. Using numbers != math. It is formulas and other bullshit that is then solved through rudimentary application of mathematic operations.

Then again, I'm just a jaded Electrical Engineer I suppose. Well, rather, was.

*shrugs* I switched out of EE (still in college etc.) due to the material being ridiculously stupid and asinine. Maybe it isn't the same inane stuff "IN THE REAL WORLD" but god is it agonizingly dumb when I was doing it.

...though the pay is great

I totally get that. I picked history because I really love the subject matter. And all the professors are total geeks and I love them <3 Unfortunately, history at an Oklahoma university (and the history field in general) is a total Boy's Club where everyone just gets around and gushes about stupid boring military shit. Sigh. It's why I've gone out of my way to take as many classes with the female professors as possible, just because they tend to focus a bit more of the society and culture angle.

;__; But, now that I'm facing the real world, I wish I could go back in time and whisper in young-Kino's ear ... "Get a degree in real shit!"
