....... ....... I have a lot of weaknesses in this world but cheesecake is my biggest. I would walk through fire and back just for cheesecake.

Cheesecake cookies though sounds something like a gimmick. You get cookies that look nothing like cheesecake but through the power of artificial flavor tastes just like it.

:( I wouldn't enjoy it. You need to enjoy the feeling and the texture of the cheesecake filling as it fills your whole mouth and squashes around in your teeth. <3

AND NEVER! put toppings on it unless they are REAL fruit. I hate people that pour this artificial strawberry or blueberry topping on it. that stuff looks gross and doesn't even taste like the fruit it's suppose to represent.

Or they're cookies that use cream cheese to mimic the taste of cheesecake.

Cream Cheese != Cheesecake taste.

That or I'm totally buying the wrong cream cheese. If so, I will hunt you down for this mystical cheesecake tasting cream cheese.

... You missed the whole conversation, Scy. We are talking about things that would taste nice if they DID make them taste like cheesecake. We started with cookies and now we are talking about cream cheese.

@Scy

Right, but if you mix cream cheese into a cookie recipe, it'll mimic the taste of a cheesecake, which uses cream cheese (plus sugar and other cake staples) to create that cheesecake flavor.

Hence, cheesecake cookies likely use cream cheese in a sugar cookie recipe as an ingredient to mimic cheesecake flavor.
