Eh, I just once had a gay friend back in the day who used to pronounce "pink" as "pank" which I thought was funny. He's not southern or anything, he just pronounced it that way.
Also I finally ordered my pank DSi today. My DS is also pank, so I settled on a (sort of) matching color for my DSi so that they would match.

*shrugs* Just find it a weird example since the two words have the same pronunciation for practically everyone. It's like asking if it's pronounced like "see" or "sea." Well, fuck, the rest of the world says them the same how the fuck can anyone answer that for you?
...and not sure how my location is truly relevant. I go to a fairly big public southern University. I've heard all sorts of accents. I'm legitimately curious how one pronounces those two differently. I've honestly sat here repeating them out loud in various accents and nothing sounds remotely close to something that wouldn't cause me to laugh at the person speaking.
Though, to answer, I've been to Oklahoma before.

Actually, it's more of what happens to the "N" now that I sit here saying them outloud. But, yeah, shitty example of what I meant.

Scy, do you attend UT by chance? I think you may have mentioned which school you're in before. Shit, was it A&M? Hmmm.....

I have no regrets about getting a DS rather than a DSi, but if I was especially posh I'd have both!
I do want the new Green DS they came out with (at least, I think it's a DS and not DSi)
