Picked up "The Dark Spire" for cheap, online. Another classic ATLUS game that I kept putting off. Just waiting for it to arrive.

I bought it years ago but never liked it, so I mailed my copy to Trifkin. I adore EO, but Dark Spire didn't captivate me the same way. I couldn't get into the story without the class portraits, I just never got immersed enough I guess. Still, I can see how others would enjoy it.

I never got far in it. I liked what I played, but what I hear about Dark SPire makes me expect that I would have hated how battles played out late game.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED everything about Dark Spire except the battles. It was completely unbalanced. It really soured the whole experience for me and I put it down. Which is sad because there were so many beautiful things about it.

I sold it at flea market last year to earn money for other purchases and to clear out my library. No regrets. It went to another Atlus fan - or so the guy claimed.
