I have the first two volumes of it, and I prefer the Japanese over the English, because the English changes the context, and is overall less cute and smart. It's very much in the same vein as the English Shin Chan dubs. It is funny in places and has some bright spots, but yeah... it's definitely the sort of dub that is destined to be very polarizing. I'm not a sub snob, either, I actually enjoy a good deal of American voice work, but it's definitely something else...

I'm honestly displeased with the way they have packaged the manga. There's shit like fanart and cosplay photos in the back of the book; wtf, don't care. Dark Horse had that Letters to the Enchantress in its OMG! monthly comic releases, but those were actually interesting and often about translation questions, characters, that sort of thing. But... cosplay? Some 12 year old's ass-ended drawing of a lopsided Russia? Bonus pages from the mangaka's other works? Low res transfers? FUCK. YOU.

Seriously, WTF, TokyoPop. I shouldn't expect much of stupid TokyoPop since it's owned by Disney, and HarperCollins is a big steamy pile of shit anyway. They have the worst vendor services department. Even silly MPS is better.
