So I read Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou up to the current chapter (4, of 5 total). It's from the Elfen Lied author but it's a romance story, not a ... however I'd describe Elfen Lied or Nononononononononononono (nononononono...)

It's straight up porn half the time.

It's stupid heartwarming sweet and cute the other half.

I'm expecting tragedy finish. Because I lost all hope days ago.

Sket Dance: It still makes me laugh after 2 years when I started to read, the characters are so random, the situation are always hilarious, the trio Bossun-Himeko-Switch FTW \o/

My only experience with Sket Dance is from an advert for it on the PSO2 load screens, just the text "SKET DANCE #26", which was really funny to me before I knew what it was. I was gonna read it, but then I didn't, maybe sometime.

Speaking of reading things, I read Pixie Strikes Back! (oddly enough there wasn't a whole lot of striking back involved, despite the title), which is actually a western comic book (marvel specifically), but I don't care and I'm posting about it here.



I didn't much care for it, but the cover is fun, for some reason how angry X-23 looks is really funny to me (I'm not terribly familiar with the character outside of her appearance in MvC3, maybe she's just pissed off all the time? Still looks goofy either way). Also, I'm curious as to what an A rating means in the context of comic books, but I've deduced that, at the very least, it's not a seal of quality.

That was a Sara Pichelli book! She's one of my favorite artists. Isn't the art gorgeous, even if the story is lacking?

The art was fine, it was just the writing I took issue with.

I mainly read it because I thought Pixie seemed kind of cool, and am still a little bit interested, happen to have any recommendations? I'd like to give her another chance with a story written by someone else.
