Kimiko that's blasphemy to like 99% of Amerians. We fucking love peanut butter and jelly (jam) sandwiches. I, however, do not.

I do like toasting the bread sometimes, however.

I've seen Belgian and Dutch brand sprinkles with pictures of toast them at the asia mart (which sells tons of other international food, not just asian stuff). Is PB a commonly used adherent? I was thinking toast with butter + sprinkles? Never seen the sprinkles-on-bread anywhere else! I assume it's a common snack there? Is it a dessert or a breakfast food, or a tea snack?

Give me jam from the supermarket, usually bleh. Especially strawberry. Now, if it's a jar of homemade raspberry jam... me and my mother will consume it like a pack of wolves on an injured traveller.

For sprinkles (Dutch: hagelslag), usually butter/margarine is used to prevent it from falling off your sandwich. Personally I dislike the taste of butter/margarine, so I just hold the sandwich closed while eating. There are two kinds of hagelslag btw, the chocolate kind () you're probably familiar with, and the fruity flavored sugar kind (). Sprinkles on bread can be eaten whenever bread is eaten, i.e. lunch usually or breakfast too for some. Tea isn't a meal here.
Fun fact for today: in Britain, sprinkles are often called 'hundreds and thousands'.
