A feral cat is not the same as a wildcat. True, it's possible to breed the two (ie; the Ocicat and associated breeds) but a feral cat is not a wildcat. Just because they can survive in habitats without humans does not mean they should, nor that they cease to be of the species Felis catus: domesticated cat.

Domesticated animals have been bred for thousands of years by humans, around humans, adapted to humans. They are a distinct and separate species.

T-T Lily is still sick!!

<_< It doesn't seem to be getting worse. And she's still loving all over me and puring and :3 just being a doll.

So long as she is still eating that is a great sign. If your cat ever stops eating for more than like 48 hours it will die. ;__; true story.

Also have been thinking about this really disturbing article in CATS magazine I read forever ago as a child. It was all about cats falling out of apartments. It even had a diagram to show how far up the cats in the story had fallen and what their injuries were. That's how I found out that a 4-story fall is actually more damaging than a 10-story fall, and that this one cat fell like 50 fucking stories and lived. That article was crazy.

6 stories and a cat is fucked. Past this, a cat will naturally align itself into proper falling position.

A cat can walk away from about a 7-8 foot fall from what I understand.

Personally, a two story fall and I'm the one who would be hanging out the window screaming "NOOOOOO!!!! LIIIIIIILLLLLLYYYYYYY!!! OMFG!!!!! T-T"


<_< We are going to call around some vets tomorrow and schedule Lily an appointment. Her eye is looking no better and her cold is getting no better. It's been four or so days now. I'm done.





Actually, if I didn't know she was sick, I'd take a pic of her because I swear to God she reminds me of Kino's winking eye cat. <_<;;
