I remember the first time I introduced Thomas to snow/ice. I took him outside and he was like HEY THERE IS STUFF OUT HERE OH MAN I WANNA GO INSIDE so I put him down on the porch, and he tries to make a beeline running for the house, but ended up sliding everywhere on the ice. Poor thing.

Ashley, of course, ran full speed out into the yard, realized there was no grass, and then just looked confused.

Ok, pet time:

This is my sister's dog, Charlotte. She is a pug, and is an absolute control-freak.

I still get blamed for giving her the middle name 'Persephone'. :/
Needless to say, she's extremely high maintenance. I suspect most pug owners just stuff their dog with food to keep them placated. We actually try to keep her fit. Due to genetic defects, she's undersized, despite being 3 years and fully-grown.

As an EO beast, she'd probably just bark at FOEs, chase the especially large, fast moving ones and generally attempt to stab them in the back.

My sister texted me this after she got back from university for winter break. We have a cat, Station, who still lives at my moms place. He is giant and fat and the laziest sod that ever lived. Also he is battle scarred, and were he to speak english, would probably render stories about Viet Cong, or something similar.

Apparently my sister did this to him.

He does not seem amused.

Probably not/maybe/I have no idea. My cat never got stung.

My mom did though. Poor thing. One fell off the ceiling and landed on her goddamn face.

I didn't think scorpions would even attempt to climb a ceiling

They're demon bastards. They'll climb straight up the walls and attempt their way across your ceiling while they're up there.

My fiance wanted to get a pet scorpion, and I told him I could not reside in the same house if that happened.

I hate scorpions *shudder*
