Accessories: Ring tied to a thick cord around his neck. No magical properties in the least bit.

Physical Descritpion: Ord is a big wolf. Ord is a very big wolf. Some might say that Ord is as big as a warhorse; most would say that some larger warhorses are as big as Ord.

Ord's fur is thick. Nice, straight, thick fur. Nice, straight, thick, dark greyish fur, that is, that hides most of his scars. Except, perhaps, for the scar across his left eye, the long-healed sword cut across his right flank, a few small bites and cuts that life in the wild lane has past onto him.

His eyes are black with red glints. His teeth are sharp, his fangs long, his claws rather quite pointy. His is a very compact, lean body, fit and strong from being of the wild; there is no room for weakness in the world of the Beast.

Personality: Ord thinks he's funnier than he actually is, when in company. On occasion, he likes to play practical jokes. Mostly, he likes to pretend he's a proper dangerously aloof Beast of the wild. Watch out, though, he believes that the best way to wake a sleeper is by waking them up with a properly friendly, very wet lick. Right proper way to wake a person up, don't you think?

He likes to play with younger sorts, who he views as pups. He only likes soldiers with catsup or horse radish mustard, and alchemists make him sneeze.

History: At times, he dreams of another life, a life led long ago. In these dreams, seemingly disconnected scenes flash through the dreamscape, jumping from moment to moment. These are rarely remembered, and even more so rarely remembered for long. Only a single, sad face stays with him--a witch's face, her face seemingly fixed in apology and sorrow. C'est la vie.

Once, not so long ago as that other life, he was part of a pack. As things come to be, a passing adventurer's group encountered the pack and slew the entire pack, leaving Ord for dead. The giant man-eating wolf would later put his man-eating skills to good use, but that is a tale for another roleplay...er, story.

Time once again passed, and Ord came across a young pup of a human child. Torn between biting her head off and looking for something more filling, the child bedazzled him. Ord still thinks to this day that the child somehow cursed him into liking her, but has never quite gotten the evidence he would need to feel good about following through with his original decision to bite off her head.

Time always passes, and though the child would continue to visit him through the years, she grew and disappeared. Ord never forgot her. Years more passed, and a strange man came, calling his name. Before Ord could bite -his- head off, the man explained that he had married the human pup Ord had been cursed by, and that she not only had she spoken of Ord quite often, but had become quite the adventurer. An adventurer who had disappeared. The man gave ord a ring on a cord that had belonged to the pup and begged the giant, man eating wolf to find her (lacking other, more human resources willing to help). Out of respect for the pup he once knew so well, Ord only bit off part of the man's hand before striking out for parts relatively unknown.
