Well, I thought I'd add these maps for you guys to see. I haven't added any notes or text to this. Just the map image itself. Being in japanese, I think the map image itself is more useful than the text anyway.

B2F needs the secret door to the three treasure chests room (middle left square, bottom rightmost square of C1. Also needs a Camping icon on the little room that bridges between D5 and D6.
In B3F, the FOE in E2 needs to be 2 squares more to the right and 2 squares more up, guarding the non-muddy 'bridge' part. This is kinda important since these FOEs activate only when you share an X or Y co-ordinate with them (or move within 1 square).
Can't comment on 4F since I've only just got there.
Otherwise, good work, keep it up.

I'm not making these maps in-game. I'm using Excel 2007.
So while I make these maps, I still need completed in-game maps to confirm what is in the game, etc. I'm not actually playing through the game, so I don't know first hand about everything I'm mapping without feedback from people
That is where your in-game maps and help come in handy

Floor 22:
[spoiler]I'm guessing gravejokler is referring to the rooms that don't auto-map or show the player's exact location and the holes that drop the player down to the next floor. I don't remember any other peculiarities.

I don't know what you mean by the first type, but the holes are called pits, and those were even in the original EO.
Witness the terrible maze of pits!
Funny thing about this map is that in EO1, there is a limit to the number of icons you can place on a given floor. The number of pits on this map exceeds the number of icons, so you can't even fully map out the pits using pit icons. Most people ended up "drawing walls" and such to get around this, but on this map we can see what it looks like with pits galore
The only way to tell which tiles were pits or not was to either fall through it, or watch the FOEs and take notice of which tiles they are walking on (safe tiles) and which tiles they are avoiding (usually pits).
