The Shogun and Android (no confirmation on their exact names) pair of classes are indeed like the Hexer and Ronin classes of EOI.

Also, what I have noticed is that the ROM doesn't exactly show all of the effects/font/etc. on occasion.
I've ran into this problem when prompted to select ( YES ) or ( NO ), selecting skills during battle, and in the Status/Custom screens.
Even a quick glance would give it away that it was, in fact, a ROM.
^ This has also occurred with my ROM of 7th Dragon, btw.
