Hm. Now those seem to be fun. First, to get them, you need to do a mission...but you can either get Shoguns, or Androids, depending on the mission. Maybe you get both with that speculated newgame+ or a later mission? It kinda sucks having to redo everything because you picked the wrong one by accident ^_^
Anyway,their skills are fun! There's one where if they are revived, the entire party is healed because this boosts their morale.
You can appoint a vanguard or a palace guard (a combat buff, 3 rounds, one gives Attack+, Defense- and makes them act first, the second gives Attack-, Defense+ and makes them act last). You can mark one of the lines, and when an enemy attacks that line, you counterattack. You can, apparently, command a devastating attack of your entire party. ANother skill, the prerequirement, does this for all your ranged characters. There's two attacks attacking the entire enemy party randomly, that get stronger at day or at night.
And, unless I am getting everything wrong, it seems they can use two weapons and even have an attack that hits double if you do that.
Overall, they seem to be some sort of battlefield commander, in my eyes, with all their appointing and "Everyone attack!" commands
They're probably going to be my main damage dealer!
