I love the portrait artwork for this.

Same for me
In EO1 there was no difficulty in choosing my characters, the Blue girl gunner was my favorite in EO2.
In EO3 my Princess/Gladiator have the same hair/eye colour (pale blonde hair/red eyes) so I made them siblings XD
...I shouldn't play this game so much.
@DylanKaneda Maybe the removal of the Hexer/Dark Hunter classes have simply removed the darkness from the game? Although there is something eerie about those farmers...

I don't know about that I think the [hide]Yggdroids[/hide] well the female ones have a somewhat creepy feel about them..those piercing eyes remind me of the hexer..oh and there's the metallic spine thing too..among the other almost skeletal features..
Though I have an obvious bias towards Yggdroids >.>....xD

EOI and EOIII doesn't have the Gunner girl. Automatic fail.
Fox mask ninja makes up for this setback though.

I think the two hidden classes are being considered spoilers still... (I don't know, everyone else has been treating them that way, but I think it's pretty damn obvious... oh well!)
And the only class I dislike the portraits for is Hoplite. Mostly because the page-boy hair cut Hoplite's face is dumb and I hate it.
But noodles's avatar is AwesomeFro Hoplite, and thus I like that one.
Agreed that EOI has better portraits than EOII, with the exception of the entire Gunner class, because they had awesome portraits. Green-coat Gunner boy forever!

Nonono, nervous-orange-poncho-gunner-girl forever.
And I love EOIII's artwork, don't get me wrong, but it lost the... same feel the other two had. The characters in EOI and EOII seemed to be, like, alive, and the EOIII ones... don't. It's the same art style, but... it's missing something.
They look cool now, but not as alive.
...And I keep picturing an archer from EOI/EOII standing beside a ballista and being all like, "...dude, like, overkill much."
