Hi. I've lurked here a bit since last summer.
All the local shops that were going to import the game from NA cancelled it.
I wonder if two or more Hoplites can Overguard / Overwatch eachother successfully. And I'm not sure if the skill uses max or current HP.
What is the effect of EM Barrier? Is it a paralysis followed by an attack, or does the attack have a chance to paralyse similar to Kagenui or Izuna? And what is the attack like, besides "thunder"? 100 % damage? Can it be chased?
Edit: Oh, I'm a Ragelope!

Thank you! Yeah, I mean the two using it on eachother for the same turn. I figured there could be some prohibition against using it on another character who's using it.
So if we have two Hoplites doing it with 301 HP, and we assume the enemy deals a precise amount of damage when it hits, then:
If they would take 300 damage, both are dropped to 1 HP.
If they would take 301 damage, both are dropped to 0 HP.
If they would take 302 damage, both take no damage.
And with one Hoplite having 300 HP, and another having 301 HP:
If they would take 299 damage, one is dropped to 1 HP, and the other is dropped to 2 HP.
If they would take 300 damage, one is dropped to 0 HP, and the other is dropped to 1 HP.
If they would take 301 damage, one is dropped to 0 HP, and the other takes no damage.
If they would take 302 damage, both take no damage.
So there is always at least one amount of damage that could lethally penetrate that defense. On the other hand it could be a small window. Sweet spot. Achilleus' heel.
Depending on the likely attacks, non-lethal penetration might make future lethal penetration less likely. "Whatever doesn't kill you ..."
Does this look about right?
I have another question, if you don't mind. Does damage negation from Overwatch interfere with the activation of EM Barrier?

Yggdroid/monk can master counter, ascetic deeds, sleep mode, and rocket jump to become a one-man(?) countering machine. Yggdroids and monks both have skills that can further help against status effects, and learning retaliate lets you take on elemental opponents. Your only weakness there is going to be speed.
In case of implosion, look directly at implosion.

Stacking Virus Scanner and Waking Chakra on a character with partial Bind immunity? Healthiest character ever.

Mmm, that's what I thought. They'll still have a bind for Sleep Mode, but nothing else.
