Hmmmm, and here I was thinking the Monk was going to be a revamped War Magus while the Pirate was a Ronin/Gunner combination. I guess I was wrong on two accounts. Now I'm even more interested in what these new classes are like. :)

eharper256: No sea fairing abilities :shock: That seems silly. Oh well, they seem to make up for it elsewhere so I'm fine with that :)

Yup, a good number of the Pirate's skills are just chasers. Which is good, since my team is going to be heavy on elements. I can potentially attack an enemy eight times with a fire attack. Well, I will be able to, once the game's released in NA.

It's not really silly: Pirates are not known to be awesome explorers that stray very far from their home base. :)

Pirate skills are nice, not just the chasers, also the passive boni. Self-taught swordmanship is pretty cruel, too.
