Are sub-classes unlocked after the first stratum or the second? I've heard both, and I need to know which one it is :P lol

Off-hand, there's no reason why they wouldn't. When I get the chance, I'll test it out for you.

Edit: Which was sooner than expected.

Vanguard's Prestige and Rear Guard's Honor place a buff so they trigger the Prince(ss) buff-related abilities. Assume Formation (the counter stance) does not apply a buff so it does nothing. Great Militarist and Spiritual Unification will also trigger the Buff-related abilities.
