I think they used "drowned city" because something else came out recently with "starry skies" in the name
don't know if this has been addressed

i thinked they used drowned city because the hol was bad story wise, i still dont understand what the hell happened in that game

Finally read the NP artical for Etrian three, the first line fit perfectly. The rest of the article was kinda lame though.
Whats wrong with drowned city? Your exploring a city that was sunk a long time ago. fits perfectly doesn't it?

The overly simplified description of the setting brings no creativity or relevance to the title.
