Etrian Odyssey 3DS?

Considering most of the monsters are either a) personified aspects of nature trying to drive you off, or b) things that just want to murder you on principle and/or live on human fear, that seems oddly out of place, Zam.

No but you make it seem like they're just enemies in your way. The game's make it very clear that that is not the case. EO games haven't tried to instill any sense of personality in what you kill short of very few enemies (typically bosses, NPCs). SMT Demons are a completely different story.

I, for one, would have loved it if EOIII actually let you go to the beach. I mean, for chrissake, they tell you to do it almost every other floor, yet it's not actually there!
