I totally agree with your #1. That will always be my favorite. However, the one that I'm beginning to get attached to is this one, if only because (due to the situations when it is used) whenever it comes on in-game I get totally psyched up, a mixture of adrenaline ("Let's do this!") and anxiety ("Will I make it through...?").

Overly dramatic, I know, but it's part of how I get into the game. The other way is by always making myself a member of my party. I'm a Gladiator this time around.

On the topic of music though, EO has always had THE BEST situational music. Even those "oh look a dead body" events with the scary music always give me goosebumps. I love the pacing and presentation.

Speaking of which, this is the first game where I've felt so anxious wandering the halls of the labyrinth, just because I know this time around anything can kill me at almost any time... and yet I enjoy that feeling. It's kind of like being scared at a horror movie; I play EO because when things get tense, I feel closer to my characters and it creates a sense of enjoyment.

Ah, your #2 selection... I love that one, even if it is only used once in all of EO1. That was one heck of a battle. What made it even better was how I didn't expect it the first time around...

Though I wouldn't recommend reading it ._.

It sucks..not much useful info, just whining and complaining and it was some reviewer that obviously didn't have much experience with the series and obviously can't handle this type of game, and she lacks imagination <.<

I'm not sure how difficult the game is to understand to these people. It's established over and over again that your guild's going exploring (probably because they're, you know, explorers). You're given the reason, as well, and you're also told about your skill points. Everything else is self-explanatory.

And the game doesn't require level grinding, really. I hardly needed to grind, and I beat the game with relatively little trouble.
