Hey scy, they're is actually a second place to do the "Salty exploration" [hide]A spot in the second stratum 8th floor, in E5 there is a salt pillar that you can harvest the salt from.[/hide]

ok i understand but the green peas dont give me enough spaces to move as far as i can tell... there has to be something im missing...

Well, you need to get the Sheep Cheese first. Trade the Cedar for it at B4. Once you've done that, it's a rather simple process of going around the west/back side (West x3, South x1, West x7, North x2, East x1 off-hand).

Regarding the second stratum quest [hide]Professor Scott's all-nighter[/hide]:
[spoiler]I tried leaving after the king starfish is born. The reward was 3×Pole Stone instead of 5×. I'm not sure if the amount of EXP was also different though.[/spoiler]

I've got some updates I just never got around to fleshing them out here ... mostly because the last few times I did they were largely ignored (like ... posts asking about quests right after the post they were in).

Anyway:
