Sailing made me fear the Dungeon

Horror movies are usually not pure horror all the way through and often even have some comedy. This is to make the horror that much more... horroring... and to not desensitize the viewer before the movie is even halfway through.

EO3 is no longer pure dungeon crawl, and the wide open inviting ocean made me not want to go back to the dungeon. ... For a while. Then I went back and I will never stop playing this game ever is basically what I'm saying here.

All the other amazing aside, anyone think the sailing/dungeon relationship is really cool?

It took me a little bit to actually get what I was supposed to do, but once I did, I was immediately... overwhelmed, I guess? Mapping my dungeon was already fueling my OCD tendencies just fine, then I set out for a sail...

I do like how it really challenges you to think. It's part dungeon crawl, part puzzle, and I'm enjoying the challenge it presents. I thought once I got the mast I would have a much easier time of things, but it actually made things a bit more challenging when you move 2 squares at a time rather than 1. Still, it's very cool.

[spoiler]Hell, isn't the first exploration map called "South Seas" or something to that extent?

For what it's worth, the second map isn't as interesting as the first. It's more of a "well, we gave you the ability to move farther than you could possibly care about for the first map so ... aha, new map!"[/spoiler]

A lot of the food options seem a bit questionable. I mean ... [spoiler] ... 16 days eating nothing but sheep's milk cheese? 8 days of dried peas? No wonder my crew keeps sailing into that damn whirlpool.[/spoiler]
