Guild: FF. Acronym for "Fearless Force".

Althea(M): the name means "healer".
Gunther(L): the name means "war army". Coincidentally Landsknechts were the German name for mercenary and this name was German.
Randal(P): the name means "shield wolf". Shield, protecting. Protector.
Hunter(S): kinda self explanatory, haha.
Gaby(T): the name means "God is my strength". I would that it would be a good name for someone who is a support character like given blissful protection and strength from God.
Sage(A): eh, I think of Sages as the high class of magicians. So there you go.

Guild: Myrmidon . I thought of Homer's Odyssey and created this name.

I don't want to go into my EO1 and 2 stuff, since their names weren't serious (for example, my first protector was named LolTank since he was my group's tank). However, I will cover EO3.

Guild: Fomulus - nickname a friend gave me from my forum name

Ship: Moukyun - I don't even remember how I came up with this, I think I was talking with my friend about Touhou's Mokou at the time that I happened to be naming my ship...

Aeglia (H) - derived from the word "aegis"
Capt. Lily (B) - since the Capt. part took a lot of space, I had to make a short, feminine name.
Astria (Z) - should be self-explanatory, given her class
Ketsuko (N) - roughly translated to 'child of blood' in Japanese, though I may have wrote it wrong
Panacea (M) - should also be self-explanatory

But my ninja retired, and was replaced by one of the hidden classes.
[spoiler]T57[Elti] (Y) - I wanted to give her a number to make her seem more robotic. The "Elti" part is kind of like her nickname, and the name her comrades call her by. It's derived from my first robotic original character, and I like using it.[/spoiler]

Mine are all in my signature space, but I will explain a bit more.

Trisisse(Name of Protector in EO1/2, Princess in EO3) - The name was created by a friend of mine, originally "Trisis," but I changed it a little bit.

Volkir(Axesknecht or EO1/2, Gladiator of EO3) - Not sure exactly how I came up with this, but it's one of my favorite names. Kind of sounds like a Norse word for "Volt" or something, idk.

Ferus(Beast in EO2, Wildling in EO3) - Latin for fierce, wild, savage, untamed.

Zephyr(Ronin of EO1/2, Ninja of EO3) - Means "strong gust of wind".

Alira(Gunner of EO2, Buccaneer of EO3) - I actually have no idea how I came up with this one.

When I was thinking up backstory for my characters of EO3, I was sort of thinking that they were decendants of my EO1/2 characters or something.


Other names I had in EO1/2 were...

Zeblid(Alchemist) - Self-explanatory.
Wysteria(Survivalist) - From Wisteria, a kind of tree.
Lunessa(Medic) - Derived from Luna, which means Moon(Gotta love Latin).
Kraden(Hexer) - Funny story: I was thinking of the name Kanden of Metroid Prime Hunters when I came up with this, and just in the summer I was reminded that Kraden was the name of the old scholar in Golden Sun. That is messed up.
Solai(Troubadour) - Derived from Sol, which is Sun in... You guessed it, Latin.
Torbyz(Dark Hunter) - Another cool name I came up with, not sure how though.
Mirrena(War Magus) - Honestly only used this character to pass time at the inn cheap to respawn bosses. When I play through EO2 again, I'll be sure to use a War Magus.

I'll date myself here and say that my characters are named after characters I used in the first D&D "Gold Box Games" (if you remember those games). I have used these same names for every game that lets me name my character. These came from a D&D group I was gaming with at the time. Named by their players and borrowed by me. I played the Wild Mage Eon BTW.

Hawkwind (later shortened to Hwak) = Leader - In this game a Hoplite

Lord Grey (later shortened to Grey) = Straight Fighter, two weapons when possible - In this game a Shogun/Gladiator

Shadow = The sneaky Thief. In this game a Ninja/Monk

Scarlet = The Fiery red head Mage/Cleric - in this game an Arbalist/Princess (I did not need to Zodiac)

Eon = The Wild Mage - In this game a Zodiac/Wilding
