So this gives you a good idea of Loren's preferred style:

Whereas this is more like what I imagined his face and hair to look like:

But obviously red-gold rather than black.

Name: Mina Serehnal
Gender: Female
Age: 15

Occupation: Healer

Description: Mina's frailty is obvious just looking at her. Her skin is somewhat pale, while her overall build is thinner than most. She also is rather short, only about four feet and three inches. Her long, golden colored hair goes down her back to the backs of her knees, and her eyes are a medium shade of green in color.

Mina's robes do not appear to be made with traveling in mind. They are overall light in color, the main portion being a very light, almost white, blue color, while the detached sleeves really are white. On the back, next to her exposed shoulders, are two long strips of pink cloth, which go down slightly below where her hair ends. Her pants reach down to slightly above her ankles, and are rather loose and easy to move in, white in color. Her shoes are white as well.

Personality: Mina is... Shy. She doesn't usually talk much unless she needs to, often all but fading into the background, happy to let others speak. However, she will often give suggestions when asked, if no one else thinks of them, and once she begins speaking, she actually can be rather forceful, if she feels strongly about a subject. If she doesn't however, her voice can sometimes be barely audible, even when she is feeling well.

Mina loves knowledge of all kinds, and she can usually be found reading a book. She believes that knowledge should be spread to all it can, that it will help the world. She is peaceful, disliking violence, and she will even heal her "enemies" if she thinks she can do so without putting the lives of herself or others in danger.

In truth, Mina doesn't value her own life much. She thinks that she is all but worthless, even though she sees value in the lives of all others, trying to see the best in people. She is quite capable of fear however, and doesn't truly wish to die, despite how she views herself.

Backstory: Mina was born in a small, peaceful country, far away from the place of the tower. Even from the moment she was born, she'd been even tinier than other newborn children, and unbelievably pale. She hadn't been expected to live past a few months old, and for a time, it had seemed as if those predictions would come true.

She did survive, but she remained frail, and sickly. Her early childhood was spent mostly in bed, unable to go outside for how sick she was. During this time, she found comfort in books. It didn't matter the kind of book- She found interest in both stories and information on the world around her, unusual for one her age.

As she got older, Mina began showing signs of an unusual talent- As did her sisters. They seemed to have an ability that allowed them to store items in... Nowhere, seemingly. There was no trace of where they went, they seemed to just be able to put them into, and take them out of, holes in reality.

This ability did not go noticed by others, and one day, when Mina was nine years old, a man came to visit her home. She would remember hearing her parents speaking with the man- Her parents sounded angry, while the man's tone sounded... Sad, almost.

Her parents hadn't told her what it was about. However, the next night, someone came into the house. When one of her sisters, Lucca, screamed, her parents came running even as Mina was startled awake. A stranger was in the girls' room, and when confronted, he spoke to Mina's parents. "Give us the children willingly, and you shall not be harmed. Your life will be lived peacefully, and your daughters shall be well taken care of. I guarantee nothing if you insist on refusing however."

Naturally, there was a refusal, and then a fight. The stranger knew how to use magic, and her father was injured in the struggle, which had ended with merely the disappearance of the intruder. Mina's parents took them that night, and they began running.

They moved from place to place, trying to avoid whoever was after Mina and her sisters. However, every time they would be found almost instantly, and they never stopped running. Mina would not remember how they managed to escape most times, evade the magic of their pursuers. Her only memories of that time are of being a burden. And of at the end of the months of running, from the fall into the winter. The day she witnessed her mother's death.

They were running, still being pursued. Mina was feeling especially sick that day, and was so pale that one would have thought she had no blood in her body. She felt that she could run no longer, and finally, she could not, and collapsed to the ground. She watched as her family went on- But then her parents, and her sister Luna noticed that she'd stopped. Lucca kept on running, seeming afraid.

Her parents came back to help her up, and Luna would have, had she not been cautioned. But their pursuers closed the space between quickly now, and before her parents reached her, she felt herself being dragged away. And then she watched, crying out weakly, helpless, as two men took hold of her mother, and killed her. She did not see what happened to her father, nor Luna... She can only assume that they are dead.

At some point during the journey, being carried away, too weak to fight back, she lost consciousness. When she awoke, she was in a large room. It was decorated quite nicely, and didn't seem cold at all, even though it was winter. She was lying on a bed in the corner, and there were a number of bookshelves throughout it.

After a while, a young man came in, holding a tray of food, and some sort of warm drink for her. He appeared uncomfortable, and left quickly without a word after depositing the tray on a dresser next to the bed. She couldn't help noticing a sort of apologetic look on his face...

Eventually, she felt well enough to eat the food, and then read the books in the room. She read until she fell asleep, and when she awoke, she was on the bed again, with food at its side once more.

It continued for some time like this. She couldn't have said how long, but it was an extremely long time, and she was lonely. The visitors to her room bringing her food were not the same every time, and all wore mages' robes. However, none of them spoke to her, many appearing too uncomfortable to do so, and if she tried to speak they would quickly rush out. Any others appeared to have no emotion on their faces at all, except sometimes annoyance.

And then one day, she heard noise outside the room. She didn't understand what it was, but after some time, a man she didn't recognize came into the room. He claimed to be her uncle, come to rescue her. She didn't understand what was happening, but she followed him out, and he led her outside.

It was spring now, and only then did she realize how long she'd been in that place... But this realization was brushed out of her mind quickly by more noise behind them. Many people were coming outside from inside the building, and none of them looked friendly. Her "uncle" urged her to go on while he held them back, she couldn't be captured again.

She ran once more. As she had before she'd ended up in that place, she ran until she could no longer run, and collapsed in the forest. Again she woke up in an unfamiliar, warm place, this time in a log cabin.

There was a man sitting by the fire, stoking it, and upon hearing her weak sounds of confusion upon waking, he turned toward her. He explained that he'd found her unconscious in the forest, and had brought her here. When she mentioned her uncle he said he knew nothing about him. She wanted to find him, but the man talked her down, reassuring her that he was no doubt still alive, but they wouldn't be able to find him.

Eventually, she accepted that she wouldn't find him... Once she'd calmed down, the man asked her why she'd been there. And so she told him. A look of compassion and sorrow crossed his face as he listened to her tale, and he remained silent after she had finished. He offered to take her in, saying that she would have a home with him...

She accepted. He took her back to the village he was from with him, where it turned out he was the priest in a small church dedicated to a god of life. The god was called Aduros, and he was said to have once been an ordinary human from another world. However, his spirit was said to be that of a phoenix, representing both rebirth, and undying life. Supposedly prophets had sometimes had visions of him in this form...

Mina was well-taken care of in this village, and raised for the next five years by its priest, she became faithful to its religion. She learned the arts of healing, and helped those in the village whenever needed. She spent most of her time in the village library however, which was surprisingly large given its location, and over the next five years read well over half of the books inside it.

One day, she was sent by the priest who had been as a father for the past five years, to help the people of another town. He told her that the people of this town needed her help, but did not specify what sort of help it was. However, he seemed strangely sad for some reason, as he sent her off.

Before she left, he spoke to her one last time. "I know you can never give yourself credit, understand your value... But know Mina, that I care about you deeply. Find yourself, even if you are lost. Remember that we care about you, and do not throw your life away. You are truly special, and you will come back."

Mina had no idea what to say to this, so she merely stammered a quiet "T-thank you..." before she left. And thus she began her journey toward the town around the Dead Tower... But she would find far more than just a town here, and whatever need it had would not be what she expected. Those last words that the man she respected most uttered to her, were not meaningless...

Other Information: Mina has a natural ability for dimensional magic that manifests itself as an ability to open small gaps in reality that she can store items in. This ability has already been approved by Trance.

I believe every game secretly has a character with a power like Mina. Where else do you think RPG characters keep their hundreds of potions? Either way, hurray, sickly girls get protected out of sympathy!
