Grey had found a ree near the stream to sleep by and wrapped the long ends of his scarf around him. Although they id not cover his whole body, his scarf was incredibly warm. They were made from the fur of a blue alpha wolf from the mountains his clan primarly resided. The fur mysteriously was warm to the touch.

The next morning, the group began their trip back. There were no attacks, but as Grey was about to follow the group down the path they ahd just taken, Maxi pointd in another direction. It was another clearing, and aftetheir last experience in one, Grey drew his sword. He kept his guard up as he walked over to Maxi.

"Oh, look! Another clearing!" exclaimed Lull redundantly. "I do hope we get to see those purple butterflies again. They may have, you know, poisoned us and everything, but the designs on their wings were simply to die for!"

She then returned her gaze to the papers in her hand, while still keeping an eye on her surroundings. She was looking at the basic composition of another combat song, titled "Shelter." She traced her one finger over the notes. The tempo was loud and the tone was solemn, but what she was truly thinking about was how to make the song magical, literally. She pondered the intricacies of the flow of spiritual energy as she followed the rest of the group.

Chamomile yawned. It had been so long since she last had to fall asleep naturally, she had forgotten how troublesome it was. In the end, after her watch was over, she had settled for merely climbing into roll of blankets alongside Aodhamair. It could get quite chilly in the labyrinth, once the sun was down.

She massaged the crick in her neck. Well, at the very least the girl's wounds had healed, if she had that much energy.

"If we meet some more venomflies, I'll be sure to cut their wings for you Lull." Marcus said, idly waiting for something to happen. He was currently prepared for a battle; Not that he actually expected one, but anything can happen.

After a boring shift, (but safe, he supposed) Malachi had gotten a few hours sleep and was feeling pretty good. Noticing the others draw their weapons, he did too.

((Wait a sec, is Chamomile in the blanket with Aodhamair?))

((Was. They're moving again, so that happened in the past.))

Aodhamair drew her weapon, more from an eagerness to fight than in wariness. Her day had not gone so well, she woke up to Chamomile in the middle of the night, both of them wrapped tightly in a blanket, that made her slightly annoyed, thus her eagerness to beat something with her axe.

Still, she was thankful she hadn't had a heart problem for quite a while now, apparently its working she thought, as she moved to the front of the group near Marcus, probably showing all too much her eagerness to fight.

Grey looked around and realized that Maxi had broken the formation to lead them to a small clearning through thick trees that appeared quite easy to get lost in. She turned around with a smile and waved them over and within moments, the guild found themselves at the safe entrance of the guild, without even fighting a single monster.

"Wow..." Grey thought, scratching his head. "I never noticed that shortcut... did any of you guys?"


Back in Etria, Maxi notified the Old Man the location of the spring andwas given plenty of Ental for her troubles. Next stop was Rahda Hall.

Chamomile tucked the samples of water, dirt, and miscellaneous plant life she had gathered from the spring site into her back as they entered the town. Really, having shortcuts like that was incredibly convenient...

((I'll do something more interesting tomorrow morning, probably.))

"No, a survivalist I teamed up with was the one that could notice anything was the one who found the shortcuts." Marcus told Grey. "Wonder if Iz sent any letters". Iz, as he liked to call his daughter was very attentive when it came to adventuring, and probably hound him for hours if she was in town.
