Aodhamair half agreed with Marcus.

She did need to do it outside the labyrinth, but only because she was outclassed in strength by Marcus, and whatever he was referring to, would probably not be a favored way of ending it. So she eased herself and Marcus let go.

Her chest was beginning to feel tight anyways...

She quietly withdrew to the back of the group, near Franz, waiting for the right time to take another pill.

Malachi watched the rest of the group squabbling with mild interest. Seeing how eventful his first voyage into the labyrinth had been, Malachi noted that this one had been thus far calm, besides his group mates bickering.
Since he had woken up in the hospital, Malachi had been feeling slightly off, and his chest was burning. He raised his arm and coughed into his elbow. As he pulled his arm away, he saw bright red specks on his arm. He casually wiped the blood off of his arm, and moved over to the group.

"The ground's pretty dry here, we should move on if we want to find that river," he said.

((Man, I'm gonna have a lot of work on my hands, aren't I.))

((Well, your first concern would be to make sure Aodhamair doesn't brutally murder you, and then the problems with Malachi's disease without wonder pills...
But Chamy can handle it...right?))

((I'm just thinking how many people still seem to have health issues. Well, there's one less person to worry about healing in battle, anyway.))

Arguing between group members...oh how fun. People weren't exactly Franz's main area of study, but he still found it entertaining to watch their squabbles. Well, so long as it didn't get them ambushed and/or killed.

Still, something that did pique his interest was the movement of the hotblooded warrior girl to the back. Considering Aodhamair's normal in-your-face attitude (and by in-your-face, he means in-Chamomile's-face), it was strange to see her retreat. Of course, Franz thought it best not to ask, as she could simply need to use the bathroom...but on the offhand chance it was something unusual, he decided to keep a close eye on her, hoping she wouldn't notice his observations...

Aodhamair drifted to the right of the group, the side her pill container was located, leaving a blind spot for the rest of the group, she looked around.

She was safe to swallow.

She downed a pill as quickly as she could, stuffed the pills in her pocket again, and for a final time, looked out at the group.

She saw Franz nearby, apparently ignorant, although he shifted his eyes when she looked, he had been observing her the whole time.

"At least Franz didn't see me" she thought, and jogged up to the near front of the group, staying more than a fair distance from Chamomile.

"I don't need Marcus interfering again " She thought, as she looked to the front, wondering where the guild even was in the labyrinth.

((And hoping Drathi would find us the spring already... ))

((Sorry for the wait. XP Someone is going to have to refresh me on the names of some of the monsters as we go deeper. I haven't touched EO in forever.))

Grey tugged on Maxi's arm as he knelt down and felt the earth once more. It was wet. The stream had to be close by now. He turned to the rest of the party and motioned them over to the stream. They could hear the stream up ahead, but once they were finally close enough to actually see it, something rose up from the water. It had a green body as hard as a rock; it looked like a crab.

Drawing his blade, Grey entered the Iai stance an swiftly attacked. his sword bounced off the crab's body and hardly left a dent. It was physically resistant.

((Oh shit, we need our zodiac already!))

Not eager to repeat any of their previous battle results, Chamomile hopped quickly behind Marcus. At the very least, the beast didn't look poisonous. If it was simply going to rend their bodies and maybe cut or tear something, it was at least treatable, given some time.

"Besides," she thought to herself, "there's one less person I have to work on."

Perhaps a little too smugly, she prepared her supplies.

Aodhamair looked to the far front where grey struck the creature. His sword bounced off of it like it was rubber, making a sound like clashing metal. Was the things shell made of it?

She didn't know and didn't care.

She ran towards the blue-ish crab thing and struck it.

Unlike Grey, she had left a dent. But it was totally un-phased. So she hit it again.
And again.
And again...

She stopped to take a breath, and it replied to her numerous hits with a swipe of its arm. Its fast... she thought. Almost as fast as me. She barely dodged, and the sharp claw left a scrape on her forehead. She jumped back before it could again attack, and ran toward it again.
And again hit it a numerous amount of times, again it was un-phased.

It, apparently slightly annoyed by her attempts to hit its hard shell and not under hit, jumped back with as much dexterity as hers and struck.

She was hit square on.
Thankfully it only struck with the blunt side of its claw. She fell back near the rest of the group, near-unconscious, her head bleeding, she stumbled to her feet, looked over at the medic and said
"Hey, sugar queen, have fun watching us all get beat up while you do nothing, 'kay?"

And charged one more time, this time screaming in order to curb the pain.

Grey pulled Aodhamair back and threw her to the ground to keep her from charging.

"Don't be an idiot," he told her. "Keep level headed..." Grey had payed attention to the places Aodhamair had hit the crab and realize that she had only hit the top. "Fraz, think you can do some alchemy to help us?" Grey asked. "This will take awhile, if we go with force." Grey made sure Aodhamair stayed back as he took her place. This time, he rushed towards the crab and slid on the ground.

It was a narrow space, but he was attempting to slow its movements by cutting its legs. As he came back up, he flipped the crab on it's backside. He brought his sword down, stabbing into it, only to find that just the tip pierced it a couple inches. It hardly did anything, but it was definately much weaker on its underbelly.
