It's the middle of December, and the small European town of Tregaron is experiencing a period of silence, as no one has been stopping at the town recently, not for any reason in particular, it just seems quieter than usual. Well, as "quieter" as an unknown town in wales can get.
The only reason people go there, it seems, is a small abandoned apartment complex to the west of town, the locals call it "the complex that never ends", it does indeed end, they say, "but we just never see the end of the people coming to the town just to go to that bloody apartment complex."
But there is a secret to the complex, whenever asked about why it is abandoned, they avoid the question, and are very wary afterward. And that is why your here, or not, perhaps you have different motives? I mean, there was that paranormal investigator that went missing, but that's beside the point.

And that is where you begin, traveler, post your character on the other thread, and have fun!

The door creaked open, when you entered, the door closed behind you, it is locked now, dim lights flicker inside the already unsettling old room, a quick look around shows that the front desk is bare, behind it, on a small shelf, however, are two things, a small bible, and a flashlight, in the middle of the room, a strange layout is ahead, two passageways, one on the left corner of the room, one on the right corner, both lead to long long hallways, both of which have flickering lights, and doors lining the outside of the hallways. You assume the stair case is in between them.

Wait, what was that? A shadow? no, no it wasn't, just your imagination.
