The mighty and fabulous and magnificent and glorious and fantastic and spontaneous and amazing and delicious (forgive me) Yggdrago is interested! And also a total noob when it comes to stuff like this, so before I actually join anything I'm gonna read up on the rules and whatnot. But totally interested, so mark a spot as taken...for now. And hopefully forever.

Are witches considered a core class? I see they are under Base Class, but am still not sure. I''m looking over other classes and their skills as well, so I'm not really rolling a character so much as doing research.

Wait a sec, I read through the thread again and saw someone mentioning voice chat. Is voice chat required? If so, I'm dropping out.

Thank god, I was worried there was going to be voice chat.

The whole thing in one night, sounds interesting. How long would that be approximately? I haven't done anything like this before, so I'm kinda curious. I'd also be grateful for any sort of advice the more experienced people could give me, like what sections of the rules to just glance through, and which ones to read thoroughly, etc.

eeerm, last time i ran this particular thing it lasted around three hours?

don't worry too much about the rules as 99% of it wont apply to you. just read about the classes to get an idea of what role you might want to fill in the party, and maybe read about combat. you will be walked through everything once things happen.

I can safely say that I will 100% play a Paladin. I like the feel of it, and from what I've read so far, it seems to be exactly what I want to play.

Three hours sounds okay, depending on when it happens. Basically, every second weekend I have all the time I need. Every other day, it's a gamble.

If you're gonna be a paladin, the next step is to figure out what deity you serve.

http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Portal:Religion

Here's a good list, just make sure the one you pick is from the "Inner Sea Region" and since a Paladin has to be Lawful Good, it might make sense to pick a deity within one step of that alignment (LG, LN, NG) like Abadar, Iomedae, or Serenrae (though Iomedae might make less sense if you aren't playing a human)

Should we start listening off our free hours for the next few weeks, then? I can post my work schedule later since it's not static, bit until the 8th of December I have class every Tues/Thurs from 8:00AM-3:00PM PST and Monday from 11:00-2:00PM PST.

Mine is really simple.
22nd, 23rd - all the time I need
24th - up to 14.00 CET
29th, 30th - starting around 20.00 CET on the 29th, to 20.00 CET on the 30th
1st - up to 14.00 CET

Everything after that I am not too sure about just yet, but you can expect a similar schedule (just bi-weekly and not weekly).
