Book Selections and Meeting Dates

Oh fudge. I thought I had until the first week of Jan to read that book. Sorry, that's my fault, guys. I've unlocked it... o_O;; I'll... try to hurry through the book!

Sorry I've been away so long guys.

I apologize but I didn't get the next book read. I really wasn't able to purchase a copy any time this past month and didn't really have the chance to get one brought in at the library. I'd still like to read it, though.

Seems like quite a few people are having trouble finishing some of the books (this one and The Last Unicorn).

I kind of want to pick up a copy of The Remains of the Day and just read it so I can post something in the topic so it's less barren.

I have it... it's sitting on my nook... prolly about to expire in a week or so... but... my interest is right now concentrated on Agatha Christie whom I can't put down.

Well. I've started reading Wicked Gentlemen. :3 Can't wait to talk about it.

I think I've decided what my selection for the club will be. I'm looking at The Stars My Destination, by Alfred Bester. I've talked about it around here before and I just keep coming back to it as my best choice.

However! Because it is science fiction (not everyone's cup of tea, understandably) and because it may be hard for everyone to find a copy, I give you all explicit permission to veto this book. Please, feel free to do so for whatever reason. I promise I won't be offended. :3 I'll be searching for a backup in the meantime just in case.

Well, I found a backup selection: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. I'm a few pages in and loving it.

I dunno. This has always been Kino's book club thing. I don't have time to even attempt to try to take it over.

If you guys want, go ahead and assign books to start reading and just make topics about them. :3 Keep the book club going. I'll try to join in at some point when I have time (after this semester).
