^ It's likely a stylised shiny. Sometimes used as moon, but commonly a sun. There's a continuum of similar designs, so even the modern "circle or spiral with radials" doesn't look that out of place.

I said I wanted boss gimmicks! (which this one has okay but STILL)
Mostly I hate the "everything is resistant to physical but hahahaha bet you didn't take a Runemaster!" bit. Because I didn't take a runemaster, I took two Nightseekers, against my better judgment (hindsight).
Buuuut yeah, I'm just... ready for this to be over so I can learn Master level skills.
Also, I know the gimmick. I got subclassing and everything.

Ugh. Entirely too much "NOPE you gotta go somewhere else dude" in this area for my taste. I vastly preferred EOIII's fourth stratum to this.
