The only rant I have is that someone doesn't want me to finish Etrian Odyssey. To date I've owned two copies of all the games up to III and all were stolen or lost. So, I'm keeping IV in my DS until I beat it.

Anyone know what those items that Wiglaf will occasionally give you in trade are? I can't find any reference to them.

The 2nd floor boss isn't that difficult. As long as you have a fairly standard party (it's sort of difficult not to), and have trained decent skills on them, you should be able to inhibit it sufficiently. If you're having trouble finding it, check every spot you come across (and no, it doesn't involve the gaping hole spot: that one is for a quest). Ensure that you've accepted the quest for it from the Count, because I'd assume that you need it, in order for the boss to spawn (I wouldn't know, as I had the quest active.)

FOE-moths? Eeeeh.

The moths aren't bad with status afflictions (they can only paralyze the front row)
its just that they become active once the party is engaged in a battle
and they're usually clustered together in a room v_v

Can anyone explain to me how linking works for the landsknecht? I can't figure it out. -_-
