As part of my love of both Etrian Odyssey and Yuzo Koshiro, Etrian Odyssey's music will always have a home on my computer and mp3 player. I listen to it often and there is one thing I noticed about the music between the series' games that had been escaping me. And that is, despite the difference in instruments, chords, music flow etc., the core music remains the same through out the different games.
For example:
The First Stratum Theme:
EOI
EOII
EOIII
And for EOIV it sounds like the third track released is the first stratum theme, with the first being the intro and the second being the fourth stratum theme (I see what you did there Atlus).
I was just curious about who else might have discovered this as well as the opinions of those who did/didn't know.

Hoping he pulls a 7th Dragon/2020 and has a second unlockable OST.
Hell, even the OSTs for the previous three games in this series have had extra disks with the PC-88 versions of the soundtracks. Yuzo Koshiro loves his PC-88 too much to let it die now.
