Swordsman Skills Translation

Class native skill
Kenshi no kokoroe (Swordsman knowledge) Max level 1
When you or an ally attacks, damage and accuracy up.


Kenshi no gokui (Swordsman essence) Max level 1
When you or an ally attacks, damage and accuracy are further increased


Kenshi no Satori (Swordsman's Enlightment) Max level 1
When you or an ally attacks, damage and accuracy are further increased

Sonic Raid Max level 10 TP 4 STAB ATTACK
At the beginning of a turn, attack a close enemy with the weapon equipped.
Quick attack skill.


Pre requisites: Sonic Raid lvl 3:

(Link Flame) max level 10 STAB ATTACK TP6
The japanese for this skill is super confusing.

After confirming with a friend the description for the link skills seem to state that YOU are the one initiating an elemental attack and that your teammates are the ones doing the follow up. Haven't tested yet sorry!
Does it mean you HAVE TO already have your weapon imbued with an element through the use of elemental oils/skills? Or can you create it from scratch? I don't know, need testing.

(Link Thunder) Max level 10
(Link Freeze) Max level 10

Power break max level 6 SHIELD SKILL TP4
Shield Skill.
Short range attack with one's equipped shield. Decreases the enemy's attack power for three turns


Pre requisites: Power break lvl 3

Mind Break max level 6 SHIELD SKILL TP4
Short range attack with one's equipped shield. Decreases the enemy's magical power for three turns

(Support skill)
For 5 turns, you abandon your defence in exchange for acting first with your attack power increased.

Pre requisite: Vanguard lvl 2

Sakigake no koumyou (Triumphant charge) max level 8
Passive skill
Whenever you attack before all the enemies, attack and accuracy are up.

Double strike max level 8 TP 9 SLASH AND STAB ATTACK
Attack twice with your equipped weapon


Pre requisite: Double Strike lvl 3

Round sword max lvl 8 TP11 SLASH ATTACK
Attack one enemy as well as its adjacent partners.

Pre requisite Round Sword lvl 3
Sword Tempest max lvl 8 TP 13 SLASH ATTACK
Unleashing your true speed , you violently attack one enemy.

Penetrate mac lvl 8 TP11 STAB ATTACK
Attack two enemies who are positioned on the same column.

Pre requisite Penetrate lvl 3

Falcon lunge max lvl 8 TP 16 STAB ATTACK
Random attacks to one row of enemies (3 at lvl 1)

Passive skill
You will defend a teammate on the same row with your sword, Halving the damage he receives.
Set probability.

Pre requisite: Sword breaker lvl 3

Unity of offence and defence. max lvl 6
Passive skill
When you have two weapons equipped, your defence power is increased.

-Link Plus max level 8
For three turns, the number (frequency?) of times the Link skills will activate will increase (At level one, it goes from 1 to 3)

Pre requisite: Link Plus lvl 3

-Link mastery max lvl 6
passive skill
Number, power and frequency of link skills increases.

Stand-alone skills

--Physical attack boost max level 8
(Passive skill)
Attack power up.

Mineral knowledge
Allows you to look for minerals at foraging points.

-Oukyuuteate (First aid) max level 6 TP2
Field skill
You can heal one of your partner's HP outside of battle

-Gouwan Ryouri (Building/ Handling Strong arm) max lvl 1
Increase the number of STR points you get when you level up.
If more than one character in your party has learned this skill, the effects are strengthened.

-Physical defence boost max level 8
Increases physical defence, duh.

I just figured it would be a sword only skill, and yet it works with rapiers/sabers, which is a completely different weapon type.

Ok so for the Gouwan Ryouri skill it is maxed at level one and is listed as a Heavenly skill. All classes have one heavenly skill that is basically linked to a stat. Important thing I didn't mention is that the skill's description states that the skill's effect becomes stronger if more than one member of the party has this skill. Imagine an all Swordsmen party ...

Also about the Unity of offence and defence, it does seem to hint at a future sub classing allowing the swordsman to wield two weapons at once.
It is quite strange to have such a skill from the get go.


Also about the distinction between the novice veteran and master skills. You can't put any points in veteran skills before reaching lvl 20 and into the master skills before lvl 40.

I am not too happy about that as it hinders my customisation but I suppose it is for the sake of balance!

Will translate fortress skill tree today. I am busy at work sorry!

Does it mean you HAVE TO already have your weapon inbued with an element through the use of elemental oils/skills? Or can you create it from scratch? I don't know, need testing.

Also about the stab and slash thing. I think it's about what type of damage you do and is unrelated to your weapon type.
(I suppose some monsters have higher defence to one type, also for special items dropping purposes...)

...I just thought that the kanji çİş was used in some heavenly meaning.
However I just remembered about the balloon part of the game (of which I know nothing about yet)

Maybe it is only usable for the Balloon part of the game...
It states something about cooking food allowing you to gain strength.

As usual, needs testing.

Okay I've finished the demo now.

So basically the Link skills are pretty cool and do have some potential.

You don't need to have an imbued weapon, your attack will be elemental.

The flow goes as follows:
You attack with a Link skill (Fire/Ice/Thunder)
>>> A link is placed on the enemy

After that, ANY attack (skills or basic attacks) will trigger an additional elemental hit. (According to your Link level of course.)

Obviously if you use the Vanguard skill, you will always act first.
A full Link build sounds like a great elemental team set up.
They really did make the Swordsmen an attractive class.
