Haha, This series is the best. It rewards fine tactics. I haven't had such a nice feeling of achievement while playing in a long time!!!
That was such a nerve-racking fight!

Wow, these things are *tough*. A lot harder than the other two FOEs.

Now the real game can arrive...all I have left to discover is how to catch a booka

They always manage to escape me, haha. I haven't really figured out yet how they work other than them racing to the edge of the screen xD

they will sometimes waste a turn to move up/down vertically. Use these instances to catch up with them.

I've actually got a metal one by now, which also died in one hit. It really pays to store burst ^^

It was more accidental than anything though. Definitely gotta try what you suggest here to get em regularly. Or maybe find a food they like...

Best way to level I found so far were the rare golden (sparkling) versions of normal FOEs though. Those give a metric *ton* of XP.
Of course, they also hit like said metric ton XD

That would require being able to access the Jap eshop, which can only be done using a Jp 3DS =(

Now that the NA version of the Demo is out...

These things are nasty they can almost KO the Fortress in one hit so pretty much anyone else who's hit is dead unless you can get some defense boosts.

I got REALLY close to taking one out when I was able to blind it but I wasn't able to kill it before it took out a row in about one hit. I'm going to keep going at it with the party I have but if it comes to it I'll build a group to take it out.

I gave up when I saw them do 197 damage to my Nightseeker. Yeah... not even going to bother with them.
