It seems as though this game is in a whole nother dimension... beyond 3-D... Etrian Odyssey grew up so fast T^T.

And I'm a bit iffy about the Swordsman getting changed to Landsknecht and the Medic being Medic again. This totally kills my hopes/idea of seeing EO 5 getting this huge thing where we vote for our favorite classes from all four previous games. We'd pick 1 class from all sword/axe/club wielders, 1 class from all archer types, 1 class from all healer types, 1 class from all elementalist types and so on and so forth. Till in the end we had like 13, 14, 15 different classes instead of 3 or 4 replicas of the same kind of class. Or we could have every class from all four previous games but then we'd get confused in terms of Landsknecht, Medic, blah blah blah... you guys get me?

^ See, I get we're not "allowed' to fight other explorers or adventurers, but it's not like we'd go into full kill mode or something. We'd stop after we've caused our opponents to "faint" (like in Pokemon). I'd LOVE to fight other adventurers and just go with crazy ideas... a 5 on 5 Farmer battle? What?! A 1 on 1 Ninja battle? ¿Que? A 3 on 3 Beast with full Loyalty battle? Oh my gosh! I'd have hours of fun... winner gets to keep a weapon or armor from the loser? Dangerus, you and me man, 1 on 1, Farmer vs Farmer >:)

Also... but I love Arbalists T^T

Levels/better gear make such a vast difference in this game, it would be too hard to balance for it to work out...

Speak for yourself. I don't like PvP at all.

And calling Swordsmen Landsknechts has become a nice EO tradition I think. Makes them a little more impressive than boring old warriors and rogues.

No equipment means no skills, in most cases. And no skills mean def and attack are the only thing that matter, which means classes aren't balanced when fighting with each other.
