Just started the demo, but here's what I have:

Front:
Scott - Landsknecht Female 2
Sarah - Fortress Female 2
Back:
Fuuka - Runemaster Female 2
David - Medic Male 1
McDouglas - Sniper Male 2

Really hard to pin down portraits this time. All so good.

The iceking-Mystic is pretty cool, but the standard-colour looks good, too. Hmm.

I guess you could Warrior's Might a Sniper with a bind-field.

After a lot of thinking, I think I'm going to start with this party.

Fortress, the tank focusing on the cover/shield skills and maybe revenge strike.

Dancer/Nightseeker, buffer, probably put 1 into each waltz to cure ailments and binds. Maybe a few things to help trigger links.

Landsknecht/Runemaster, will be taking all of the linker skills.

Runemaster, mage, probably take 2 skills of each element.

Medic, Heal bot, taking all heal based skills.

Not too sure what I'll sub some of them. But I will be switching the medic for an arcanist once I can, to cover healing, a couple of binds and ailments.

Does the damage bonus from a dancer's attack tango stack with a landsknecht's vanguard?

Newest crackpot idea:

Dancer/Sniper, firing in the backrow to fuel links, add some bind support, and generally stun a lot. Backrow allows lighter defensive equipment, so she can go really hard on agi, to act before more enemies for better stun coverage. The link swordy will always link with vanguard anyway.

How well would it work? What do you think :o

^ It sounds neat. Can Dancers equip any backrow-weapons without Sniper?

Surprisingly, maybe Dancer/Bushi is better at dancing than Bushi/Dancer. Calm is a decent source of TP on its own. I like both now.

Yeah, you can equip dancers bows without a subclass.

So simply normal attacking bushi style could also work - link needs setup, and that setup works to setup some dances, too :o

All dancer party sounds sambtastic.

Started over, recently switched the Sniper in the back with a Dancer in the front. Liking counter samba. Considering how to fit it in.

I know I'm keeping the Runemaster this time. Think I got sick of never having a mage in my parties. Besides, this one is a little more interesting.

^ Unless you're getting into Link-shenanigans, Bushi is likely a more offensive subclass than Swordy.

I'm wondering what it will take to match the offensive power of my Arbalist/Gladiator in EO3. She was capable of delivering 20K damage under the right conditions. The rest of my party was built around supporting her.

Imperial looks like it may give me the best odds of a repeat performance, perhaps with Landsknecht on subclass.
