I noticed that the QR codes start at 06 and 07... Is there a 01-05 or are these all the QR codes currently available?

The QR codes are a bit weird on Atlus' part, as the three available are called "GIFT_006.bmp", "GIFT_007.bmp", and "GIFT_008.bmp" respectively.
At the time, only the Shinjuku Map QR Code (GIFT_007) was revealed. All I did was change a single digit of the URL address to get 006 and 008. Admittedly, I tried 000 - 012 before I stopped caring XD

What is the use of this 'Shinjuku Map' actually? I've been keeping it around since it seemed like a valuable item, but I haven't found a way to use it.

It says its a "trade item" and its worth 500 en so maybe its just a selling thing

The map might show a location of areas we can't get get to like the mine. There's at least two areas we can't get to on the map which by the way don't try to get to the area surround by FOEs we can't get into it yet.
-And even if it is just for the cash I can make enough money I don't need to sell it for 500 yet.

On the map. You are really safe to sell it. Spoiler for Etrian 1 and explanation´. It does not unlock anything. Areas like the mine are discovered by being found, not by having a specific item. Shinjuku is a dungeon in Etrian 1, so this map is simply a reference to this.
No location in the game requires it and in the japanese version, I never got a prompt for it. Ever.
Oh, and the japanese wiki has no additional Shinjuku quest or dungeon Quote: -And even if it is just for the cash I can make enough money I don't need to sell it for 500 yet. Much better reason not to sell it, and why I kept it.

Yeah, money seems to be no problem so far. I wonder if they'll keep that up for the rest of the game.

Battle Charm's OK until you can get the Bronze Icon which gives twenty HP and one to every stat.
Still the HP boost is nice for the beginning of the Demo.
Best one is the Acupuncture Pin equip able to anyone and it's one of the strongest weapons in the demo you don't have to take an FOE down for.
