Found my mistake, I drew a wall where there wasn't one.. The path was right after a door so I somehow missed it every single time I passed it.

Thanks for your help, I thought I had missed a shortcut so I focused more on looking in that area!

Does anyone have a map of how to get the scales of the third boss the lower the temp in the boss layer? What his weakness I got to beat him
