This isn't really a maze help question but I didn't want to make a new topic for it

I was wondering if

Does anybody know if the statue in the Golden Lair does anything?

Which statue are you referring to?

There's more than 1? The one by the 2nd floor entrance that accepts offerings.

Do you mean the object that burns your party in B2F C1?

I mean the statue of a person at D1. After meeting the sentinels, the game lets me give the statue a small flower or some other such material. This has no noticeable affect.

O you mean that statue... It certainly didn't leave me enough impression to remember it.
And you are right. It has no noticeable effect as far as I know.

I am stuck on lush woodland BF2 where I have to fight the bloodbear. I was wondering what levels should I be and what useful skills would be best to fight it?

Level 12 I think is the recommended level... that was the level I beat him last time. Though I just binded his arms and watched him do nothing for most of the battle =/

He will usually open up the fight with his roar attack. This does non-elemental damage and inflicts stun, if you're faster than him this is a good time to buff, otherwise I would just have everyone defend.

Outside of that, he uses attacks similar to the Cutters earlier in the maze. Strike Guard and/or Guard Tango can help cut down the damage he deals. Eventually he'll start charging up for a powerful attack. You can stop it by inflicting a certain amount of damage on him. If your party is a bit lacking in offense though, you'll want to defend on the turn he unleashes his attack (Think it was 2 turns after he charges).

He is vulnerable to both blind and arm bind. Both of them pretty much make him helpless.

At half HP he'll escape. Use this chance to save and heal up before starting the second half of the battle. The second half is exactly the same AFAIK.
