Um... What's the problem with final? I don't see any problem comparing to EO1 XD
Edit: actually, put the unreasonable shortcuts aside, I think the final stratum is quite well designed.

I repeat, my approach is not as time consuming as you claimed to be. It's about 3 minutes' time per pooka when you are on the overworld and the pooka spawns. At most, around 30 minutes and 10 resets are needed. If you really want to say time consuming, pooka hunting itself is already a time consuming activity, and this mapping is insignificant comparing to the time you need to farm all books for ONE character.
