Why is level 99 considered essential for the Bug? i'm on 3rd floor strata 6 at 65~ Does something special happen at level 99 or is it just that you need the max stats?

A strong party will be fine without them, as long as you're fighting the weakened form. But you'll see for yourself whether you can handle it or not. 65 is probably really low regardless, though...
