Hi,
Im currently thinking about equipping my Runemaster with either a Brilliance Belt (+46 TP) or the Smart Earring (+5 Tec), by how much does damage increase per Tec? I know that it is dependent on a particular magic lvl but Im interested in a rough estimate and what is the better choice.

The damage formula for TEC based attacks is:
((5 * User's TEC) - Monster's VIT) * Sqrt(User's TEC / Monster's TEC) and then its multiplied by the skill percentages based on the skill's rank you see in the skill sim. I don't remember how ELM forges equate into the formula. But IIRC its a +3% boost for every forge.
That said, you'll easily hit close to 99 TEC towards the end of the game or close to it. The TP bonus will probably be more beneficial. If you want to boost damage, its usually better just to buy a slotted dagger and fill it up with ELM forges.
EDIT: (1.0 + Number of ELM Forges * 3%) is the forge multiplier. There we go.
