I'm really looking forward to this. I have mix feelings though, I fear ATLUS might change the whole formula of Etrian for this. I like my portraits :C

@voices: I'm currently busy with Corpse Party: Book of Shadows (PSP) were there are huge discrepancies between what the Japanese voice actors say and what's in the script. (There's actually pig latin in the script for reasons that are beyond me..)

So I can't help, but worry.

Also, there is always this bad aftertaste with DualAudio, because you indirectly pay for them to do crappy Redubs. If it's voiced completely, I of course could handle the Japanese version just fine.. but then there is the goddamn regiolocking going on.. It's just sad.

No, they didn't. Japanese part was something along "Yamete..." and the localization used pig latin to essentielly convey the same meaning with more words.

I think everybody should calm down and wait til more information surfaces about this game. Seems rather pointless to me to call ATLUS sellouts...

I am never opposed to having a spin off series as long as the old one doesn't suffer because of it. I will of course still play this game because a story focused game does still appeal to me. Plus I think a spear using male protagonist is really cool (). I like the designs I have seen so far.
