EOV = EO4 w/ EOU difficulty and then some w/ Subclassing and grimoires( limited to 2 passives and 2 actives at most) :u

Grimoire stones do seem a bit broken. I found one with TP up 8 before even finishing the second floor. Needless to say, Arthur was quite happy.
Also found several others with skill level 5+ before reaching the 5th floor boss.
Yes, I'm the one person who actually liked FF XIII.

can someone explain what the skill level is for? I don't understand it for the grimoires. does this just increase the skill level w/out skill points wasted?

Yes, it seems to replicate the skill as though it is that level, I believe.

yeah even if your arthur has fire and take, he's going to benefit from a grimoire that has higher levels of fire and take.
