i suppose i could try again at that later level... ive been having no luck even GETTING the skill to come up a second time.....

its just i dont want to keep resting and resetting to get X skill.... but i suppose if thats something i need to do....

though im not sure by how much it increases the chance though. simply because ive gotten level 8/9 masteries already without much issue.... though... its always masteries or monster skills that ive been getting higher levels of...

maybe levels affect more than drop%? maybe they affect the range of skills? AKA like "masteries" being "beginner" and something like say "war heal all" being "advanced" or something?

HELL YEAH! Took down two FOEs! FOEs and . ... I will confess I did attack the second one on his second time getting stuck XD and while he was still stuck. *cough* HEY! In this game you use every resource available! IT'S A LEGIT TAKEDOWN!

Attacking the poor thing like that I'm sure I made a few faces very similar to my avatar XD. I have no regrets.

Just making it into the second strata.. I feel this remake is well worth the day one price for any fence-sitters! Even just for Classic mode IMO! Although the VAs for the dub are indeed terrible that's what the options menu is for. I'm also ecstatic that they put an in game timer into the save states. (as minute as that is) Now I can see how much of my life this EO title is taking from me

So I'm going around the first two floors of the second stratum with my harvest team. A rare Moa shows up and I'm like, "they're dead"... Activate their force ability and decide why not on using their force break. They all managed to evade his attack and arrows of death rain down upon him. The Survivalists (level 7) proceed to gain to 2 levels from the additional experience from it being rare.

Grinding for one specific grimoire: to give to my medic really paid off! Before, the boss of the 2nd stratum was almost impossible for me in Expert, but with that grimoire it was a breeze. Onward to stratum 3!

Well, I'm sold now, I guess.

The other game that I wanted in place of this one got pushed back, and you guys seem to be really enjoying this game so I suppose that I haven't found anything about it so bad that it makes me not want it, so yeah, this is number one on my to-do list now. Does anyone know if the First Run editions are still going around on Amazon, it'd be nice if I could put up another fancy box on my mantle in my room. And is the free DLC thing still going on or have I missed it?

The portraits still have the different non-EO1 portraits (The ones that haven't actually been used before except in official art and stuff) too, right? The description makes it sorta unclear.
